The Ivy St John's Wood
The Ivy St John's Wood sits on the corner at number 120, in a red brick building that was once a Café Rouge. It is part of The Ivy Collection, the group behind The Ivy brasseries and cafés across London, and it is open seven days a week from breakfast through to dinner.
The menu runs through the day. Breakfast leads into brunch at the weekend, then lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. The cooking covers modern British dishes and café classics, so there is something for a quick weekday lunch and something for a proper evening out. Inside, mirrors and bird paintings line the walls. Outside, the corner terrace is used for lunch and drinks in the warmer months.
It is a short walk from Lord's, which makes it an easy choice for breakfast before a day at the cricket or supper after. Regent's Park and Abbey Road are close by too, so visitors often stop here as part of a day out in NW8.
Tables can be booked through The Ivy Collection website or by phone. For a weekend brunch or a match day, booking ahead is the safer bet.
