Getting here and around
How do I get to St John’s Wood High Street?
Take the Jubilee line to St John’s Wood station, then walk down Wellington Road and along Circus Road, about five minutes. Buses 13, 46, 113, 187, 139 and 189 also stop nearby. See Getting here for all transport options.
Is the High Street wheelchair and pushchair accessible?
St John’s Wood station is not step-free, so travel by bus if you need step-free access: routes 13, 46, 113 and 187 all stop nearby. Many shops have level entrances.
Where can I park on St John’s Wood High Street?
There is no car park on the High Street. Westminster City Council runs pay-by-phone bays on the surrounding streets. Read the signs carefully, as many bays are for residents only and restrictions change on Lord’s match days. See Getting here for alternative transport options.
Is it busier on Lord’s match days?
Yes. On big match days the station gets very busy, so you may prefer Baker Street, Warwick Avenue or Edgware Road. Restaurants fill up, so book ahead. See Getting here for all transport options.
