FaceGym
FaceGym treats the face the way a gym treats the body. The St John's Wood studio is at 41 St John's Wood High Street, and it swaps candlelit treatment rooms for an open studio with mirrors and reclining chairs.
Trainers work the 40 or so muscles of the face and neck with fast, hands-on massage moves, including knuckling and sweeping strokes, alongside lymphatic drainage. Many workouts also use FaceGym's patented electrical muscle stimulation to work the muscles further, and finish with the brand's own skincare.
The aim is to lift, sculpt and tone without needles or downtime, and workouts start from 35 minutes, which makes them easy to fit into a lunch break or before an evening out. Some people book a single session before an event, others come regularly as part of their routine. The trainers can recommend a workout and talk you through which products to use at home.
It sits in the middle of the High Street, a few doors from 1Rebel and WatchHouse, so a class, a facial and a coffee can all happen in one morning.
Opening hours vary, so check the studio page on the FaceGym website or call 020 7586 5568 to book.
